Waking up to custom alarm voices is one of the many uses of any smart speaker. All smart speakers provide an alarm, whether it’s Google Home or Amazon Echo devices like Echo Dot, Echo Plus or Echo Show. One might wonder if there is anything special about alarms in Amazon Echo. There are three ways to stop an alarm on the Echo device. First of all, when the alarm on your Echo starts to sound, say: ‘Alexa, stop’ to turn off the alarm. Second, press the action button (the one that has a dot on it) on the Echo device to stop the alarm.

4. How Snooze Alarm

What’s an alarm if you can’t eavesdrop? To eavesdrop on a rolling alarm, say ‘Alexa, snooze’. The alarm will wake you up after 9 minutes.

Step 2: Tap on the three-bar icon at the top. Select Reminders & Alarms from the menu.

To create an alarm, tap Add Alarm. Then configure the alarm conditions according to your need, such as time, snooze time and more. Click Save to activate the alarm.

8. How to change echo sound and volume alarm

Amazon makes it easy to change the alarm tone of your Echo device. You will need the Alexa app registered with your Amazon account to change the alarm sound. You can choose between celebrity sounds and general alarm tones.

Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Launch the Alexa app on your phone

Step 2: Click on the three-bar icon and select Reminders and Alarms from the menu.

Step 3: Tap on Settings under the Alarms tab. Tap the Echo device whose alarm tone and volume you want to change.

Step 4: Use the volume slider to set the alarm volume. Tap Sound and select a tone you like. You can also activate the Ascending alarm option.

Most importantly, you can set a different tone for each alarm. To do this, tap your preferred alarm within Reminders and then alarm followed by Sound. Choose a celebrity voice or any general alarm tone.

9. How to set up a music alarm on Amazon Echo

Alexa needs the internet to work. But if there is no internet or internet is slow, the alarm on your Echo will continue to sound, except in the case of a music alarm, where a general tone will sound. However, if Echo is off because there is no power source, the alarm will not work.
